thorzix.com is an independent recommendation and planning service. We take no commission from hotels, hold no inventory and sell no rooms. Every line in the Resort Ledger is built from a fixed set of checks, and each entry carries the date it was last verified.
We read hotel fact sheets, official resort maps and published guest reports from the last two seasons. Beach distance is measured along the real walking route, not a straight line on a map. Amenity lists are cut down to what a family with a stroller and a child under twelve actually uses: pool depth, lift access, shaded paths, food service hours.
Each property shows a visible check date, written the same way everywhere, for example “checked 12 February 2026”. If a hotel changes its pool hours or shuttle timetable after that date, the entry keeps the older date until we re-check it. Rate bands are re-read at the start of every month, so a price always sits next to the month it belongs to.
A field marked unconfirmed is one we could not verify from two independent sources. It is not a guess and not a warning: it is a gap we show on purpose. Unconfirmed fields never feed a recommendation score, and they never become a reason to shortlist or drop a resort. Read the field as open, and ask us to re-check it before you book.

Practical FAQ
Short answers on meals, medical cover, transfers, July heat and sea entry. Every property note in the Resort Ledger carries the date it was checked.
Most shortlisted resorts list an all-inclusive band with a buffet and a daytime snack point. We note whether the main restaurant has a separate children's line and whether breakfast starts before 7:30, because early flights from Kyiv usually land around lunchtime.
We mark "doctor on site" only when a resort confirms it at the check date. The note also gives consulting hours, whether reception is staffed overnight, and the drive time to the nearest clinic in Antalya or Hurghada.
Transfer notes show the drive from Antalya airport or Hurghada airport in minutes, not kilometres. Shared coaches stop at several hotels, while a private car is quicker but needs a child seat requested in advance.
July is hot in both countries. We record shade hours at midday, whether the pool area has covered seating, and if the room air conditioning was working at inspection. Families with toddlers often prefer a morning beach slot and a long indoor lunch.
Each beach-access strip gives the walk minutes to sand, the slope description, lifeguard cover and whether the entry is a sandy shelf or a lagoon. For non-swimmers we flag calm lagoons separately from open-sea beaches with a quick drop-off.
