How to read the five beach cells

Every row in the resort ledger shows the same five beach measurements in the same order. Values come from our own visit notes and each field carries the date it was checked, for example checked 12 February 2026.

01Walk minutes to sand
Gate to dry sand at a normal pace, with a child holding your hand. Under 5 minutes reads as direct access.
02Distance in metres
Measured along the actual walking route, not a straight line on a map. Hotel paths and staircases count.
03Slope description
Flat, gentle ramp, stepped path, or cliff lift. A stroller note follows whenever the route has steps or loose sand.
04Shade hours at midday
Hours of usable shade between 11:00 and 15:00 from palms, awnings, or a fixed canopy. Zero means full sun.
05Lifeguard cover
Whether a lifeguard is on duty during the month of your travel, plus flag system where the hotel uses one.

Method note

How the nightly bands and delta chips are built

Every figure in the ledger is an indicative nightly band in euro, tied to the month you selected and to the board basis printed beside it. It is a planning range, not a quote, and no resort pays to appear in it.

    Band, not a price. We collect the room-only and half-board rates a family of four would see for a seven-night stay, then round the low and high ends to the nearest five euro so the number stays honest.

  2. 02

    Delta chip against the median. The chip compares that band with the median band of its own destination in the same month, so +12% means twelve percent above the Antalya or Hurghada median, set in tabular numerals and coral.

  3. 03

    Date context travels with the figure. Each band carries the date we last confirmed it, written out in full, plus a plain sentence on whether Ukrainian school holidays widen it.
